Working Hours Policy

Purpose

Define clear expectations for team members to ensure consistent operations across the distributed accounting team.

Policy Rules

  • Standard working schedule is 8 working hours per day, Monday–Friday, excluding lunch breaks, tea breaks, or any other personal breaks.
  • Time spent on breaks must not be counted as working time, and the Clockify timer must be turned off during all breaks.
  • Each team member will have an agreed working schedule.
  • Employees must be reachable during their assigned hours.
  • Weekend work is not allowed without prior written approval.
  • Working outside assigned hours requires written management approval.

Responsibilities

All team members must understand and follow this policy as part of their professional responsibilities.

Management is responsible for ensuring the policy is documented and accessible.
